Almost everyone’s favorite part of the house is the Bedroom. And the bed is absolutely the apple of one’s eye when talking about bedrooms and having a good sleep. Sleeping, cuddling, eating, watching your favorite movie or even playing are perfect when in bed especially with your loved ones. If you’re sleeping at least 8 hours a night, that would be a total of 2900 hours of sleeping in your beds for a year making it 1/3 of the whole year (4 months).
For a comfy sleep, a clean and freshly- washed sheet is a must. Most of us are not fond of changing our bed sheets regularly because washing them up always can be really hard and tiring. According to Dr. Lisa Ackerley who specializes in hygiene, anyone who sleeps in the same sheets for two wish is prone to more health risks. Here are some:
Coming from a busy day, from work or just from household chores can be tiring. And going to your bed will give you the best relieve to all those sweats gained from working. If you think you’re lying in bed alone, well that is not the case. Those viruses, bacteria and other micro- organisms are transferred to our bed sheets while were fast asleep and each night they accumulate causing the real problem. In short, a bed that can’t be kept clean always will be a storage full of disease- spreading germs.
This is a group of bacteria that can cause a multitude of diseases. Staph infections may cause disease due to direct infection or due to the production of toxins by the bacteria. Boils, impetigo, food poisoning, cellulitis, and toxic shock syndrome are all examples of diseases that can be caused by Staphylococcus. This bacteria surely loves to live on dirty sheets.
Candida albicans (sometimes referred to as monilia) is a fungus that is normally present on the skin that can be directly transferred to your bed sheets while you’re asleep. These can lead to infections of the throat, skin, blood and even your genitals that can be way more serious.
Pimples can be irritating and displeasing to the eye. It is cause by exposure to bacteria and lying to those dirty sheets can directly expose you to those bacteria causing it.

When ill, it is highly recommended to regularly change bedding’s as it can be pass to someone else and lead to more infections.
Dust mites from the word itself come from the dirt your body was exposed a while ago doing something or maybe nothing. It can bring no harm but leaves you uncomfortable and allergies you wouldn’t want and might interrupt your good night sleep.
